In 1943 Goko Seiki Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established, renamed Koizumi Sangyo Co., Ltd. in 1946, and restarted as a manufacturer and wholesaler of electrical appliances. In 1962 a hair dryer developed for household sales channels became a major hit. The company states it has continued for over 300 years under the philosophy of 'sanpo-yoshi' (good for seller, buyer, and society).
