Knusford Berhad

Knusford Berhad is a Malaysian public company. Its official website lists sales and rental of plant and machinery, trading in building materials, construction, property development and landscape among its activities. The group traces its start to 1989, when it focused on providing machinery, equipment, reconditioning workshop and transportation services to FELDA at a palm oil plantation in East Malaysia. It expanded into West Malaysia in 1992, diversified into sales and rental of light, medium and heavy machinery and equipment in 1993, and was incorporated as a public limited company in Malaysia on 18 March 1996 under the name Wengcon Corporation Berhad, adopting the name Knusford Berhad on 25 April 2000.

Knusford Berhad's official website states that its visionary started in 1989, when it was a company concentrated on building its business in the provision of machinery, equipment, reconditioning workshop and transportation services to FELDA at a palm oil plantation developed and managed by FELDA in East Malaysia. Sensing growth in the construction industry, the Group expanded its operations in West Malaysia in 1992 and started trading in building materials, new machinery and spare parts, supplementing the Group machinery business. In 1993 the Group diversified into sales and rental of light, medium and heavy machinery and equipment and the reconditioning of machinery, offering buy, rent and services for a wide variety of new and used equipment and reconditioning works to clients from industries such as construction, agriculture, oil and gas, marine and industrial. The Group was incorporated as a public limited company on 18 March 1996 in Malaysia under the Companies Act, 1965 under the name Wengcon Corporation Berhad, and adopted its present name, Knusford Berhad (KB), on 25 April 2000. As at 31 March 2026, the Company had 99,645,002 ordinary shares in issue, all fully paid-up. Over a decade, the KB Group has gained a high reputation in the construction industry for the reliability of its services provided for sales and rental of light, medium and heavy machinery and equipment and reconditioning work.
