KleenPark was launched in 1988 with the objective of giving Sri Lanka's vehicle-loving public an opportunity to experience scientific and professional 'Automotive Detailing', which was hitherto unknown in the country. The concept caught on quickly as customers experienced benefits and advantages that went beyond their expectations. From the outset the company employed professionals and used state-of-the-art equipment and materials to ensure the look and condition of the vehicles entrusted to it. Over three decades of continuous education, training and hands-on experience, KleenPark detailed nearly a million vehicles, keeping its promise of delivering only the best. In 2018, on the occasion of KleenPark's 30th anniversary, founder and chairman Ranjan Ratnasena, a professional detailer himself, gifted the total ownership of KleenPark (Pvt) Limited to his dedicated team of detailers of three decades, fulfilling his conviction that wealth should be equally shared among those who have rightly earned it. The company describes itself as the first-ever fully employee-owned business organization in Sri Lanka. This employee ownership created an accountability-driven working culture that acts as a driving force behind the company's continued success in achieving service excellence. KleenPark continues to operate its detailing studio, offering a broad menu of services and products, and states its aspiration to take professional automotive detailing to the next level.

  On its 30th anniversary, founder Ranjan Ratnasena gifted total ownership of KleenPark (Pvt) Limited to his team of detailers, making it Sri Lanka's first fully employee-owned business organization.
