KLEEMANN is one of the major lift companies in the global market, founded in 1983 in Kilkis, Greece. It offers all types of residential or commercial passenger and freight lifts, escalators, moving walks, accessibility and marine solutions, parking systems and components, distributing to more than 100 countries. The company has been listed on the Athens Stock Exchange since 1999.

KLEEMANN Hellas SA was established in 1983 in Greece, signing a contract for transfer of 'Know-How' from the German company KLEEMANN HUBTECHNIK GmbH. The first manufacturing plants were completed in 1985 in the Industrial Area of Kilkis. Production began in 1986 with the manufacture of complete hydraulic sets. In 1999, KLEFER was established as a collaborative venture with the Spanish company TECNOLAMA-FERMATOR, and KLEEMANN did the initial Public Offering of its shares in the Athens Stock Exchange. In 2001, KLEEMANN Asansör was established in Istanbul, and an Electronics & Automation manufacturing plant began producing controllers.
