King's Confectionery began its journey with a single outlet in 1973. It was incorporated in 1993. Its products were certified HALAL by Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia in 1996. Today, it operates in more than 80 retail stores across Peninsular Malaysia, serving more than 10 million customers a year. The Malaysian Book of Records certified King's Confectionery as the largest confectionery chain in Malaysia. In the 90's, King's Confectionery popularized the Portuguese egg tarts, which became the 'talk-of-the-town'.
