Kindernothilfe Austria

Kindernothilfe Austria (Kindernothilfe Österreich) is a non-profit association and development cooperation organisation founded in 1996 in Austria. It supports children in need worldwide, focusing on sustainable development projects, poverty eradication and humanitarian aid in more than 30 countries. It works with experienced local partners and has provided more than 30 million euros in donations for its projects since its founding. In 2016 it additionally established the charitable Kindernothilfe Österreich foundation. It is part of the Kindernothilfe network active in Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Kindernothilfe Austria was founded in 1996 as a non-profit association with the aim of helping as many children as possible to have a better life. Its work focuses on sustainable development projects, poverty eradication and humanitarian aid, and it has been active for 30 years in more than 30 countries. It works with experienced local partners familiar with local culture and needs. Since its founding, it has provided more than 30 million euros in donations for its projects. In 2016 it additionally established the charitable Kindernothilfe Österreich foundation to better fulfil its worldwide tasks. It is part of the Kindernothilfe network, which is also active in Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland, with associations and foundations based in Duisburg/Germany, Aarau/Switzerland, Luxembourg and Vienna working together for 1.5 million girls and boys in 33 countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
