Kilomaître Production

Kilomaître Production is a French record label specialising in rap and contemporary R&B. It was formed as the Kilomaître collective in 1993 by the DJs and producers Tefa and Masta, initially to produce material for the rapper Destinée — an album that was never released. Through the late 1990s the pair worked on records such as 2 Bal 2 Neg's "3x plus efficace", and in 2000 the label signed Eben and the group Tandem for the compilation "Mission Suicide". Over the following two decades Kilomaître Production built a catalogue spanning French hip-hop's mainstream and underground, with credits including Melissa M, Sniper, Diam's, Sinik, Bakar, Kery James, Stromae, Léa Castel, Tunisiano, Vald, Kool Shen, Rohff, Taïro and La Clinique. The label remains associated with the French rap and R&B scene and is registered in France, with its public presence maintained through its official Facebook page.
