Overview
Keekaroo is a brand that designs innovative, safe and useful products for children and families. Its product line includes diaper pads, high chairs, boosters, and kids chairs. The Peanut Changer, launched in 2012, is a notable product. All Keekaroo products are non-toxic and Baby Safety Alliance Certified.
History
According to the company's story, the Peanut Changer was born out of a diaper emergency. Katie, the founder, was in a product development meeting when her husband had a diaper 'blowout' at home. Her dad, Tim, suggested using a therapy wedge from the Special Tomato line. Katie's brother Jamie (CEO) reminded the team of a similar idea from years before, and Andrew, an early employee, had sketches of a peanut-shaped idea. The team developed it, and by 2012 the first Peanut Changer was ready. It officially launched on September 13, National Peanut Day. Over the next few years, it received awards and recognition from Babylist, Parents Magazine, and features in The Bump, Today's Parent, the Skimm, PureWow, and more.
