Kase

Kase is a photography accessories brand specialising in optical filters and related camera gear. Its product range is built around filter systems for stills and video, including magnetic circular filters, square and rectangular filter holder systems, clip-in filters for mirrorless camera bodies, rear-mount filters, step rings and specialist filters. The brand also offers Kase Lenses, described on its UK site as specialist optics and practical additions for a complete kit. The Kase catalogue is organised into several named systems. The Revolution Magnetic Circular Filters are colour-coded circular filters designed for fast, compact changes and lighter kits. The Armour System is a protected 100mm magnetic system for neutral density, graduated and polarising filters. The Wolverine 100mm and Wolverine 150mm series cover toughened-glass, colour-neutral optical filters engineered for clarity in demanding conditions. The K9 Holder System provides precision control for 100mm filters, graduated filters and circular polarisers. Additional lines include Wolverine Clip-in filters, Rear Mount Filters, Videography filters, Kase Drone & DJI Filters, Step Rings and Accessories. Kase markets itself to photographers who need reliable filtration across different lenses and shooting situations. Its buying guides cover topics such as choosing between square and circular filters, neutral density filters, graduated and other filters, and infrared filters, indicating a portfolio that spans landscape, long-exposure, video and specialist imaging applications. In the United Kingdom, Kase products are distributed through Kase UK, which states that it is part of Specialist Photo network, specialists in importing and introducing high quality photography gear into the UK. Specialist Photo describes itself as run by photographers for photographers, with a philosophy of providing excellent products, strong customer service and high ethical standards. The Kase UK team includes Andi Campbell as Sales Director, alongside Andrew Yu and Stephen Elliott. The brand's public identity is therefore that of a specialist filter and optics maker with an international distribution footprint, particularly visible in the UK through Kase UK and its dedicated e-commerce site at kasefilters.com. The evidence available does not establish the brand's founding year, founder, corporate ownership structure or headquarters city, so those details are left unstated here.

The available evidence does not provide a dated corporate history for Kase. What can be established from the brand's own public materials is the shape of its product development and its route to market. Kase has built its identity around filter systems rather than single filters. Its catalogue is organised into named families: Revolution Magnetic Circular Filters, the Armour System, the Wolverine 100mm and Wolverine 150mm series, the K9 Holder System, Wolverine Clip-in filters, Rear Mount Filters, Videography filters, Kase Drone & DJI Filters, Step Rings and Accessories, plus Kase Lenses. This structure suggests a strategy of offering complete, modular kits that photographers can build around their lenses and shooting style. The Revolution Magnetic Circular Filters are presented as fast, compact and magnetic, with colour-coded circular filters for quicker changes, lighter kits and fewer missed moments. The Armour System is described as a protected 100mm magnetic system for neutral density, graduated and polarising filters. The Wolverine 100mm line is marketed as toughened glass with proven performance, using colour-neutral optical filters engineered for clarity and demanding conditions. The K9 System is positioned as precision control for 100mm filters, graduated filters and circular polarisers. Clip-in filters are described as compact camera-body filtration for selected mirrorless systems, and step rings allow one filter system to be used across several lenses. Kase also publishes educational material to support buyers, including a frequently asked questions section and buying guides on choosing the best filter, square versus circular filters, neutral density filters, graduated and other filters, and infrared filters. It maintains product videos, a photo gallery, news and workshops, and lists a team. In the United Kingdom, Kase is represented by Kase UK, which states that it is part of Specialist Photo network, specialists in importing and introducing high quality photography gear into the UK. Specialist Photo describes itself as run by photographers for photographers, with a philosophy of providing excellent products, amazing customer service and the highest ethics possible. The Kase UK team named in the evidence includes Andi Campbell as Sales Director, Andrew Yu and Stephen Elliott. Beyond these points, the evidence does not establish founding dates, ownership changes, manufacturing locations or corporate milestones, so no such events are asserted here.
