Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation

Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation (JSBC) is the entity behind Litchi Web (荔枝网), described on its official site as a professional internet platform built by the Jiangsu Broadcasting Group. The platform provides video-on-demand viewing of all Jiangsu Broadcasting programming and offers users comprehensive information such as current affairs, society and entertainment, along with online variety video viewing and interactive communication services.

Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation (JSBC), or 江苏省广播电视总台, is the provincial broadcasting organization of Jiangsu Province in eastern China. It forms part of China's system of provincial state broadcasters, each of which operates television and radio services for its region. Over time the organization has developed the Jiangsu Television (JSTV) channel brand, covering news, entertainment, drama and other genres, and has expanded from traditional broadcast distribution into digital and online media. A significant step in that digital expansion is the Litchi Network (荔枝网) at jstv.com, described as a professional internet platform built by the Jiangsu Broadcasting Group. According to the platform's own description, it provides on-demand viewing of all JSBC programs and offers users comprehensive information on current affairs, society and entertainment, along with online variety-video viewing and interactive services. This positions the Litchi brand as the group's internet-facing counterpart to its broadcast channels. As a state-owned provincial broadcaster, JSBC operates within China's broadcasting regulatory environment and serves audiences primarily in Jiangsu while also reaching wider national audiences through satellite and online distribution. Its activities combine content production, channel operation and digital platform services.
