Jarrow Formulas is a dietary supplement brand whose product line was founded in 1977, with origins as a health food store in West Hollywood, CA. It markets vitamins, minerals, and supplements across benefit categories such as digestive health, mental wellness, energy support, heart health, bone and joint health, immune health, and general wellness. The brand states it has 40+ years of tested and proven science and 30+ awards, and its products are sold domestically and worldwide. In 2020 it was acquired by New Mountain Capital LLC, and in 2021 it began a partnership with Natrol.

Jarrow Formulas' product line was founded in 1977. Its origins trace to a health food store in West Hollywood, CA, in 1980. In 1986, it launched Jarro-Dophilus®, described as the first multistrain probiotic in the natural channel. In 1997, it introduced shelf-stable Jarro-Dophilus® EPS with enteric coating to the natural channel. In 1999, S-Adenosyl-L-Methionine (SAMe) was launched in the US. In 2000, a manufacturing facility and laboratory were founded, with a sister company for GMP manufacturing, packaging, and analytical laboratory established in Santa Fe Springs, CA. In 2007, Bone-Up® clinical trial findings were published in a scientific journal. In 2009, Ubiquinol (QH-absorb®) clinical trial findings were published in a scientific journal. By 2018, 400+ dietary supplements were sold domestically and worldwide. In 2020, Jarrow Formulas® was acquired by New Mountain Capital LLC. In 2021, Jarrow Formulas® began a partnership with Natrol.
