Info-Tech Research Group was founded in 1997 by Joel McLean. In 2003, the company started building industry-focused content. In 2008, advisory services were launched with analyst calls and guided implementations. In 2010, Blueprints were launched, and McLean & Company launched as a division. In 2012, Diagnostics were introduced. In 2013, the Management & Governance framework was published. In 2015, myPolicies was introduced. In 2016, contract reviews and training programs were rolled out, and the first LIVE conference took place.
