Hopping Gnome

Hopping Gnome Brewing Company is a craft brewery located in Wichita, Kansas. Its mission is to brew a variety of craft beers with high-quality ingredients to make the finest handcrafted ales, and to promote the Buy Local movement in the community. The brewery was started by Torrey Lattin, who began home brewing over 10 years ago, and after visiting small taprooms in Colorado, he and his wife Stacy decided to open a small taproom with a 5 BBL brewing system in Wichita. The name 'Hopping Gnome' was inspired by a gnome giveaway from the 2012 Kansas City Royals All Star game. The brewery is located in the Douglas Design District and has a taproom and beer garden.

Torrey Lattin started home brewing over 10 years ago, and after a couple of years decided to work on a business plan to help grow the number of breweries in Wichita. At the time, there were only two brewery/restaurants in the area. After traveling to Colorado and visiting small taprooms, Torrey and his wife Stacy decided to open a small taproom with a 5 BBL brewing system and distribution plan in Wichita. The name 'Hopping Gnome' came from a gnome giveaway from the 2012 Kansas City Royals All Star game. The brewery is located in the Douglas Design District.
