Honor is set to officially launch the Robot Phone on August 12, described as the world's first robot phone. The device integrates miniaturized robot joint-control technology into a phone, featuring a self-developed 4D mechanical gimbal main camera, an aerospace-grade titanium alloy gimbal architecture that is 65% smaller than mainstream gimbals, a titanium alloy gimbal motor with 44% higher torque density and up to 360° per second rotation, and a shield-tunneling steel flip motor with 43 precision parts in 0.5 cubic centimeters. The gimbal pops out or retracts in as little as 0.8 seconds, supports 360° rotation tracking, auto-framing and subject following, and CIPA 5.5-level stabilization. Honor also partnered with the century-old imaging brand ARRI to enhance mobile imaging performance.
