HOKE

HOKE is a brand that specializes in small bore instrumentation products up to 2 inches, offering a broad array of superior alloy products. It provides instrumentation valves and tube fittings, known for safety, integrity, and reliability. HOKE began manufacturing small gas flow control valves for jeweler's torches in 1925.

HOKE Incorporated was formed in Queens, NY in 1925 and registered the trademark HOKE OK. Samuel W. HOKE developed Jeweler's Torches containing very small needle valves. In the 1930s, HOKE and Whitey formed a joint venture to develop valve technology, and by the mid-1930s HOKE Inc had shifted to industrial valves. In the 1940s, HOKE began supplying valve products to the U.S. Navy during WWII. In 1947, HOKE and Whitey dissolved their joint venture, and HOKE valves became available using 'flareless' fittings. In the early 1960s, HOKE introduced the GYROLOK tube fitting.
