Hishinuma Machinery Co., Ltd.

Hishinuma Machinery Co., Ltd. is a Japanese company that develops, manufactures, sells, maintains, and exports die casting machines, peripheral equipment, and industrial hydraulic equipment. It also imports and sells die casting machines and peripheral equipment, as well as software for mold design. The company was founded in 1956 as Hishinuma Seisakusho and later moved to its current headquarters in Saitama Prefecture.

Hishinuma Hiroshi was born in 1921 in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture. After returning to Japan in 1946, he worked at an automobile manufacturing company. In 1956, he founded Hishinuma Seisakusho in Kawasaki City, starting parts manufacturing with one lathe and one drilling machine at his home. Five years later, a factory was built in Kawasaki, and alongside parts processing, he succeeded in prototyping a resin blow molding machine. Subsequently, he manufactured plastic injection molding machines, which led to OEM production of hot chamber die casting machines. In 1969, the company moved to Ranzan-machi, Saitama Prefecture, where the current headquarters is located, and launched the 'Hishinuma brand' to sell its own brand of hot chamber die casting machines. In 1982, an innovative parting injection die casting machine was developed. Hiroshi passed away in 1983 at the age of 62.
