It emphasizes 'Made in Germany' quality and has been producing tires for over 75 years.
History
Heidenau was originally founded in 1946 as VEB Heidenauer Gummiwerke, producing rubber molded articles and rubber roller coverings. In 1969, the tire factory was merged with other operations to form the Pneumant tire combine. After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, the company faced difficult times, but in 1994 a new start followed after the takeover by Gummi-Hansen. Since then, under the well-known brand HEIDENAU, the company has experienced a phase of growth and modernization.
