Grave Before Shave is a brand that sells beard oils, balms, mustache waxes, bundles, tees, and accessories. Its mission is to rescue dry itchy beards and unruly mustaches and keep men looking sharp.

The brand's story, as told on its About Us page, begins with Wayne Bailey, who started growing facial hair professionally after marrying his wife Heather. He initially grew a handlebar mustache and goatee, and after struggling to find a decent mustache wax, he decided to make his own. After research and experimentation, he created 'Fisticuffs Mustache Wax' with label design by his long-time friend Charlie Halstead. Later, he began growing a full beard and developed the Grave Before Shave beard product line.
