ExecuJet was founded in July 1991 in Johannesburg, Africa. From its humble beginnings in Johannesburg, ExecuJet opened its first FBO operations at Lanseria International Airport and quickly established itself as a trusted provider of ground handling services combining local expertise with international standards of excellence. In 1999, ExecuJet Middle East was established in Dubai, UAE, and became one of the founding company members of the Middle East Business Aviation Association (MEBAA). In 2000, ExecuJet Australia was founded in Sydney, Australia. ExecuJet is part of the Luxaviation Group, one of the largest private aircraft operators in the world, operating globally under the regulatory umbrella of 15 Air Operator's certificates (AOCs).
