ENERMAX is a global leading PC hardware brand, founded in 1990, with core values of Power, Innovation, and Design. Enermax Technology was established in 1990, creating its own brand ENERMAX, with main business of R&D, manufacturing, and sales of power supplies and sales of computer cases. In 1991, it produced power supplies for AT computers. In 1996, it produced power supplies for ATX computers. In 1997, it launched the world's first dual-fan power supply, which was certified by AMD as the best system cooling design. In 1998, it launched the first maintenance-free power supply with fully modular cable design. In 1999, the company moved from Luzhou to its current location in Taoyuan City. In 2000, it obtained a patent for 'computer power supply with dual-adjustment temperature-controlled airflow device'. In 2001, it passed ISO9001 certification and received the 'Small Giant Award' and '2001 Innovative R&D Outstanding SME Award' from the Ministry of Economic Affairs. In 2002, it passed ISO14001 certification and was approved for public issuance by the Securities and Futures Commission. Its subsidiaries covered the US, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, UK, and China. In 2003, it was approved for OTC listing by the GreTai Securities Market. In 2004, it was approved for OTC listing by the Financial Supervisory Commission and officially listed on the OTC market with stock code 8093. It also won the annual best power supply brand from Germany's Tom's Hardware Guide readers' choice.
