EPA review of Seresto adverse-event reports
After a multi-year review, the EPA said it could not determine that Seresto caused the reported animal deaths. It nevertheless shortened the product's registration period and required enhanced adverse-event data collection and reporting arrangements.

Seresto collar safety allegations
A U.S. House Oversight and Reform subcommittee report cited tens of thousands of reported pesticide-poisoning incidents involving Seresto collars, including more than 2,000 reported pet deaths. The report generated scrutiny of Elanco's product-safety reporting and regulatory oversight.
