DHR Global is a privately-held provider of executive search, leadership consulting, and emerging leader search solutions, operating in more than 60 markets spanning 22 countries. Established in 1989, the firm began with a focus on retained executive search and expanded through its wholly owned subsidiary Jobplex, which serves emerging leader search needs, and through the addition of leadership consulting services. DHR describes itself as a "global boutique" firm and is proudly part of the Hoffmann Family of Companies. Its emerging leader search services are delivered through Jobplex, a DHR company.

DHR was established in 1989, founded by David Hoffmann, beginning with a focus on retained executive search. In 1996, Jobplex was developed to connect clients to resources serving their emerging leader search needs. In 2001, DHR acquired the Stratford Group, the 13th largest executive recruiting firm in the U.S., and industry practice verticals were created. A 25th U.S. office opened in 2003, followed by the first office in Europe in 2004, marking expansion outside the U.S., and the first office in Asia in 2005. In 2010, DHR launched Latin American expansion with offices in Mexico, Chile and Brazil. Geoff Hoffmann was named CEO in 2012. In 2013, the 52nd office and 24th global office opened in Seoul, South Korea. The Leadership Consulting service line was launched in 2016, specializing in leadership assessment, succession planning and executive onboarding. DHR celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2019. In 2020, Life@DHR was launched featuring improved health, wellness and financial benefits for all employees. In 2021, DHR Global and Jobplex rebranding launched. DHR was named an Inc. Best Places to Work winner in 2022. In 2023, the Corporate Affairs and Communications Practice Group was added as the firm's 21st practice, and DHR won the Aetna Gold Workplace Well-being Award. In 2024, DHR was named an Inc. Best Places to Work Winner for the 3rd year and honored on Forbes America's Top Executive Search Firm List for the 8th year, and celebrated its 35th anniversary.
