Crystal Consulting provides consulting and training for industrial companies and institutes on the topic of manufacturing (crystal growth) of semiconductor materials (especially solar silicon) and optical crystals. The company is associated with Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Georg Müller, who was long-time head of the Erlangen Crystal Laboratory (CGL) at Fraunhofer IISB and at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, where he held a professorship for materials science until 2007. Since 2007, he has been working as an independent consultant.
