CRV New Zealand is a pioneering, innovative herd improvement company that is leading the way in dairying in New Zealand. It provides dairy genetics and breeding support, including sexed semen, nominated bulls, bull teams and progeny testing, alongside herd services such as myDNA testing, herd testing, AB technician service and heat detection tools. Its stated purpose is to help farmers breed healthier and more efficient cows so they can build the best possible herd.

CRV New Zealand traces its New Zealand origins to 1969, when a small group of like-minded farmers created Animal Breeding Services, a predecessor to CRV NZ. In 1970 the founders began operating a bull centre, the first privately owned company in New Zealand to operate a licensed artificial insemination (AI) centre. In 2000 the company produced New Zealand's first crossbred sire. CRV describes itself as delivering a history of firsts in New Zealand.
