Croz dell'Altissimo is a mountain refuge (rifugio) situated at 1480 meters above sea level in Val delle Seghe, at the foot of the south-west wall of the peak Croz dell'Altissimo, along the main access route to the eastern side of the Brenta Group. History
The refuge was built in 1962 by the parents of Felice Spellini. In 1974, climbers Marco Pilati, Valentino Chini, Dario Bonetti, and Felice Spellini established the challenging 'Rifugio Altissimo' route on the pillar above the refuge.
