Crecia

Crecia is a Japanese company that manufactures household paper products. Its official website describes it as '日本製紙クレシア株式会社' and mentions its commitment to maintaining hygiene in daily life. The company's history includes the merger of Jujo Kimberly and Crecia in 1996, and a name change to Nippon Paper Crecia in 2006.

According to the official history page, in 1961, Sanyo Pulp (then) and Scott Paper Company each invested 50% to establish Sanyo Scott. In 1963, Jujo Paper (then) and Kimberly-Clark each invested 50% to establish Jujo Kimberly. In 1993, the company name was changed to Crecia. In October 1996, Jujo Kimberly and Crecia merged to form the new Crecia. In August 2006, the name was changed to Nippon Paper Crecia. In October 2012, it merged with Koyo Paper and became the new Nippon Paper Crecia.
