Cox Marine

Cox Marine is a British marine technology company dedicated to pioneering a safer, cleaner and more efficient approach to boat propulsion. It designs and manufactures diesel outboard engines from the ground up, delivering the Cox Marine V8, described as the world's most powerful diesel outboard. The company supports customers in commercial, governmental and recreational sectors around the world.

Cox Marine was founded over a decade ago with the belief that 'there has to be a better way', setting out to develop a lightweight diesel outboard that would not force anyone to compromise on performance, safety, or other factors. The company is based at a facility in Shoreham-by-Sea, where specialists collaborate across engineering, production and testing to deliver the Cox Marine V8.
