Coolrec

Coolrec, now known as Renewi E-Waste, is a key player in Europe's circular economy. It specializes in the processing of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), transforming discarded appliances into high-quality circular materials such as plastics, gasses, ferrous, and non-ferrous metals. With advanced treatment plants in the Netherlands, Belgium, and France, it helps industrial and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) reduce their environmental footprint.

Coolrec, formerly known as Coolrec, is now Renewi E-Waste. It operates under the Specialities division of Renewi. In the Netherlands, it operates fully as part of Renewi, with its Dordrecht site being one of the world's largest fridge recycling plants.
