CONTOUR is the blood glucose monitoring portfolio of Ascensia Diabetes Care, a company headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. The portfolio includes meters such as CONTOUR NEXT GEN, CONTOUR NEXT ONE and CONTOUR NEXT EZ, along with CONTOUR NEXT Test Strips, MICROLET NEXT Lancets and the CONTOUR DIABETES app.

Ascensia Diabetes Care was established in 2016 through the acquisition of Bayer Diabetes Care by PHC Holdings (formerly known as Panasonic Healthcare Holdings). Ascensia is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland, and states it has more than 80 years of history of helping people manage their diabetes. Its products are sold in more than 90 countries worldwide. Ascensia is home to the CONTOUR portfolio of blood glucose monitoring systems. In 2021, Ascensia launched the GlucoContro.online diabetes data management platform for healthcare professionals and people with diabetes, and launched a smarter version of the CONTOUR DIABETES app with new features to support self-management.
