CompareMyMobile

CompareMyMobile, which operates the consumer-facing site Compare and Recycle, is a UK-based mobile phone recycling and trade-in price comparison platform. Launched in 2010, the service lets consumers search for their device, compare instant quotes from more than 30 recyclers, and then send their phone to the chosen recycler for payment. The site covers smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, games consoles and digital cameras, and positions itself as the UK's largest independent mobile phone recycling comparison. According to its own account, the award-winning site has helped millions of customers obtain in excess of a quarter of a billion pounds for their old phones and other devices. The company is privately held and operates primarily in the United Kingdom.

Compare and Recycle was launched in 2010 with a mission to help customers make the most money for their phones. Over the years it grew into what it describes as the UK's largest independent mobile phone recycling comparison, and its award-winning site has helped millions of customers get in excess of a quarter of a billion pounds for their old phones and other devices. The platform aggregates quotes from more than 30 recyclers, allowing users to compare offers by price, postage options and customer reviews. Its stated goal is to motivate everyone to recycle their devices once they are finished with them and to purchase a refurbished phone instead of a brand-new model, reducing e-waste and the environmental impact of tech.
