CoCoLo

CoCoLo is the unified name for station-building shopping centers operated by JR East Niigata City Create Co., Ltd. (JENIC), a JR East Group company. The CoCoLo brand covers locations in Niigata, Nagaoka, and Yuzawa. The Niigata site, CoCoLo Niigata, provides event information, shop news, and floor guides, and includes the CoCoLo Mart food area. The operator's business includes station-building management, hotel operations, food and beverage, retail, parking, advertising, and real estate.

CoCoLo is the unified name for station-building shopping centers operated by JR East Niigata City Create Co., Ltd. (JENIC). In October 2004, following a merger with Echigo Station Development Co., Ltd., the store name was unified as station building "CoCoLo". Subsequent developments include the opening of CoCoLo Nagaoka's "Medical Healthy Mall" in December 2007, the introduction of Suica at CoCoLo Nagaoka in March 2008, the grand opening of CoCoLo South Building in February 2009, and the opening of CoCoLo Yuzawa's "Gangi-dori" in two phases in July and December 2009. In April 2013, Hotel Mets Niigata and CoCoLo West Building began operations. In November 2018, the CoCoLo Members card transitioned to the JRE POINT card. In December 2019, CoCoLo Nagaoka's "CoCoLo Mart" was refreshed and reopened. In April 2024, CoCoLo Niigata had its grand opening.
