CMX Lakeside Village 18 & IMAX

CMX Lakeside Village 18 & IMAX is a movie theater in Lakeland, Florida, United States, operating as part of the CMX Cinemas circuit. It is located at the Lakeside Village development and is branded under CMX Cinemas' core "CMX CINEMA" tier, which the chain presents as its mainstream, full-service cinema format. The venue combines 18 auditoriums with an IMAX screen, giving it both a broad slate of standard showtimes and a premium large-format option. The theater's amenities, as described by CMX Cinemas, include rocker stadium seating for viewing the latest box-office releases. It appears on the CMX Cinemas website alongside the chain's other Florida, Alabama, Illinois, North Carolina and Virginia locations, and it participates in the company's national programs such as Showtimes, Rewards, CinemaCash gift cards, private events and the Film Vault. Its location page lists current and upcoming films, showtimes, pricing and contact information. As a location-level brand rather than a standalone company, CMX Lakeside Village 18 & IMAX derives its identity from the wider CMX Cinemas brand. CMX Cinemas describes itself as offering a "Premium Experience," having debuted its first flagship dine-in theatre in April 2017 at Brickell City Centre in Miami, Florida. The chain operates several formats, including CMX CINEMA, CMX LUXURY and CMX cinéBistro dine-in theaters, with IMAX-equipped sites such as this one forming part of its premium large-format footprint. For audiences in and around Lakeland, the theater functions as a first-run commercial cinema: a place to see new wide releases, including IMAX presentations, with reserved or stadium-style seating and standard concession offerings. Its identity in the brand knowledge base is therefore that of a CMX Cinemas venue — a sub-brand of the CMX circuit — rather than an independent exhibitor.

CMX Lakeside Village 18 & IMAX is a movie theater in Lakeland, Florida, United States, and forms part of the CMX Cinemas exhibition circuit. Its history is tied to the growth of CMX Cinemas as a premium cinema brand. According to CMX Cinemas' own account, the company debuted its first flagship dine-in theatre in April 2017 at Brickell City Centre in Miami, Florida, "ushering in a new era of sophisticated movie-going." From that Miami flagship, CMX expanded across several states, and its website now lists locations in Alabama, Florida, Illinois, North Carolina and Virginia. The Lakeside Village site is one of the chain's Florida venues and is presented under the CMX CINEMA banner, the circuit's core format. It is equipped with 18 auditoriums and an IMAX screen, and CMX describes it as offering rocker stadium seating to view the latest box-office hits. The theater appears in the CMX Cinemas location directory alongside other IMAX-equipped sites such as CMX Cinemas Hollywood 16 & IMAX, CMX Cinemas Daytona & IMAX, CMX Cinemas Dolphin 19 & IMAX and CMX Cinemas Downtown at the Gardens 16 & IMAX, indicating that large-format presentation is a recurring element of the chain's strategy. As a location-level operation, the theater does not have a separate corporate history from CMX Cinemas. Its public-facing identity is maintained through the CMX Cinemas website, which provides showtimes, film listings, pricing, rewards, gift cards and private-event information for the Lakeside Village location. The venue serves the Lakeland market with first-run commercial films and premium large-format screenings, and it participates in the chain's national loyalty and gift-card programs. No independently verifiable founding date, ownership change or major renovation specific to this theater is provided in the available evidence, so its history is best understood as part of the broader CMX Cinemas story.
