Overview
CLEMENT PLAZA (徳島駅クレメントプラザ, Tokushima Station Clement Plaza) is a shopping and commercial complex located in the east side of Tokushima Station in Tokushima City, Japan. It is commonly known as Clement Plaza or simply Clement, and its logo is written as CLEMENT PLAZA. The facility opened on April 24, 1993, developed by Tokushima Terminal Building Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Shikoku Railway Company (JR Shikoku). It forms part of the station building complex, with the west side occupied by JR Hotel Clement Tokushima. The complex houses a mix of retail, dining, and service tenants. Its approximately 7,000 m² of store area includes tenants such as JTB, Zetteria (rebranded from Lotteria and reopened on October 7, 2025), Starbucks, Saizeriya, and Daiso. The building also accommodates public and media functions: Hello Work and FM Tokushima are on the fifth floor, and a passport center operated by Tokushima Prefecture is on the sixth floor. A beer garden is held on the rooftop in summer. Operationally, the facility was managed by JR Tokushima Station Building Development Co., Ltd., which was spun off from Tokushima Terminal Building on October 1, 2014. On October 1, 2023, it was merged into JR Shikoku Station Development Co., Ltd., and is currently operated by that company's Tokushima branch. The surrounding area features other commercial and service facilities such as Tokushima Meitengai, Daiwa Roynet Hotel Tokushima Ekimae, Amico Building, and Poppo Street. As a station-integrated commercial facility under the JR Shikoku Group, CLEMENT PLAZA serves both commuters and tourists, offering shopping, dining, and everyday services in the heart of Tokushima.
