Clarendon Hills

Clarendon Hills is an Australian fine wine brand. Its Astralis Syrah is described on its official site as an icon of Australian fine wine, and its Romas Grenache comes from a high-altitude section of the Blewitt Springs sub district of McLaren Vale, where dry-grown bush vines planted in the 1920s are terraced across an eastern-facing rocky hill. Roman Bratasiuk discovered the Astralis vineyard in 1990 and is credited with championing Grenache.

The Romas Grenache is sourced from a high-altitude section of the Blewitt Springs sub district of McLaren Vale, where dry-grown bush vines planted in the 1920s are terraced across an eastern-facing rocky hill with geology aged 750–1600 million years old. Wine Companion 2025 (Marcus Ellis) is quoted as saying Roman Bratasiuk championed Grenache before many.
