Cinkarna

Cinkarna is a chemical processing company based in Celje, Slovenia. The company was established in 1873 with the construction of a zinc smelter, and has since expanded into various chemical productions.

Cinkarna was established in 1873 with the construction of a zinc smelter. Operations began in 1875. Over the years, it expanded into various chemical productions, including sulfuric acid in 1912, pigments in 1934, and titanium dioxide in 1973. In 1953, Cinkarna and Kemična tovarna merged. In 1970, the company transitioned from predominantly metallurgical to predominantly chemical activities.
