Cinemark Century 16 and XD is a movie theater in Anchorage, Alaska, United States, operated under the Cinemark Theatres banner. It is a local multiplex venue that combines a 16-screen layout with Cinemark's proprietary XD (Extreme Digital) large-format auditorium, offering first-run Hollywood and specialty film programming along with reserved seating, digital projection and enhanced sound. As part of the Cinemark circuit, the site sells tickets through the Cinemark website and mobile app, participates in national promotions such as Cinemark Movie Club, and carries cinema advertising and sponsorship inventory sold by the parent company. The theater serves the Anchorage metropolitan area and is one of the Cinemark-branded locations in Alaska. Its identity is tied to the broader Cinemark Holdings, Inc. chain, a major U.S. exhibitor headquartered in Plano, Texas, which operates hundreds of theaters across the United States and Latin America. The Century 16 and XD name reflects both the auditorium count and the premium XD format, a signature Cinemark offering designed to compete with other large-format cinema brands.
