Cinema Heaven

Cinema Heaven (Korean: 시네마천국) is a South Korean cable television channel whose programming is built around feature films and overseas drama series. It is operated by KT Studio Genie Co., Ltd., the content production and distribution arm of the South Korean telecommunications group KT. The channel's official website presents it as a movie-and-series destination, with sections for a programming schedule (편성표), programme information, channel-number guidance, channel introduction, inquiries, notices, and advertising/partnership contacts. The channel's schedule mixes international feature films with imported television drama. On the film side, the homepage highlights titles such as the Underworld action-horror franchise (언더월드: 라이칸의 반란), the Korean period drama 음란서생, the documentary 1923 간토대학살, and action titles including 썬레이: 폴른 솔저 and 비포 던. Its drama slate leans heavily on overseas series, including the British newspaper-phone-hacking drama 더핵 (The Hack), the Japanese food-culture drama 맛의 달인, the romance 투명한 밤에 달리는 너와, 눈에 보이지 않는 사랑을 했다, and the Dutch detective series 반 더 발크 (Van der Valk) in multiple seasons. This combination positions Cinema Heaven as a general movie channel with a strong imported-drama component rather than a single-genre service. Cinema Heaven sits within the KT Studio Genie portfolio, which also includes other themed channels and original content production. The corporate footer on the channel's website identifies the operating company as 시네마천국 주식회사 케이티스튜디오지니 (Cinema Heaven / KT Studio Genie Co., Ltd.), with CEO Jung Geun-wook (정근욱) listed as representative director and business registration number 864-88-02017. The registered address is in the Sangam DMC media cluster in Mapo-gu, Seoul, an area known as a hub for South Korean broadcasting and content companies. As a cable channel, Cinema Heaven is distributed through South Korean pay-TV operators, and its website provides channel-number guidance so viewers can locate it on their local systems. Its audience is Korean-language viewers seeking Hollywood and international films alongside foreign television drama, a niche that complements KT Studio Genie's broader strategy of operating thematic channels and producing original series for streaming and broadcast.
