Cinéma Parallele

Cinéma Parallele is a cinema brand associated with Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Wikidata describes it simply as a "cinema in Montreal, Quebec, Canada," and the seed Wikipedia intro repeats that description. The brand's official web address is cinemaparallele.ca. The evidence available for this dossier is thin and partly contradictory. The official website homepage at cinemaparallele.ca does not currently present cinema programming, showtimes, or film listings. Instead, it displays content for "Mad Casino mobile," an online gambling portal promoting more than 5,000 games, live dealer tables, sports betting, and a welcome bonus. This indicates that the domain associated with the Cinéma Parallele brand has been repurposed or is being used by an unrelated operator, and it should not be treated as evidence of the cinema's current activities. Because the only substantive brand-sense evidence is the Wikidata statement that Cinéma Parallele is a cinema in Montreal, the dossier cannot responsibly assert founding dates, ownership, executives, programming, or current operating status. The entry is therefore marked for review. What can be said with confidence is limited: the name refers to a cinema brand in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and the domain cinemaparallele.ca is publicly associated with that name, even though its present content concerns an online casino rather than a movie theater.

The available evidence does not provide a documented history for Cinéma Parallele. Wikidata records the entity as a cinema in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and the seed Wikipedia intro repeats that identification. No founding date, ownership history, relocation, closure, or programming history is supplied in the evidence. The only other evidence is the current content of the cinemaparallele.ca homepage, which promotes "Mad Casino mobile," an online casino with more than 5,000 games, live dealer tables, and sports betting. This content is unrelated to a cinema and suggests the domain may have changed hands or been repurposed. Because the homepage content does not describe the cinema brand, it cannot be used to reconstruct the cinema's history. As a result, the history section remains intentionally limited. A fuller account would require primary sources such as local press archives, municipal business records, or the cinema's own historical materials, none of which are present in the supplied evidence.
