CICT Connected and Intelligent Technologies Co. (abbreviated 中信科智联) is a central state-owned enterprise under China Information and Communication Technologies Group Corporation (中国信科集团) focused on the intelligent connected vehicle and smart transportation industries, and is also a specialized and sophisticated 'little giant' enterprise. Drawing on the group's technology accumulation in mobile communications, its connected-vehicle team began work in 2012 on C-V2X (LTE-V2X and NR-V2X) technology standards research, product development and market promotion, and it holds a complete C-V2X product series together with vehicle-road cooperation, intelligent connectivity, intelligent driving and intelligent cockpit solutions. Its hardware products include group self-developed chip-based automotive-grade modules, on-board units (OBU), roadside units (RSU) and roadside multi-sensor fusion perception stations; its software products and solutions include LTE-V SDK development kits based on self-developed modules, C-ITS protocol stacks, C-V2X on-board application software (gSentry), on-board terminal human-machine interaction apps, a CA security verification platform and a vehicle-road-cloud collaboration platform. Its self-developed intelligent driving, intelligent connectivity and intelligent cockpit overall solutions serve multiple mainstream vehicle manufacturers, and its self-developed automotive-grade communication modules have entered mass production, with POC verification and pre-installation mass-production cooperation completed with more than a dozen automakers and Tier1 suppliers. Solutions for smart highways, urban roads, smart parks, smart mobility, smart ports, smart mines, smart airports and smart tunnels have been deployed in more than 100 different projects.

According to the company's development history, in 2013 it first proposed the LTE-V connected-vehicle concept and key technologies on the '5.17' International Telecommunication Day; in 2014-2017 it led 3GPP international standard setting and released the world's first LTE-V prototype, commercial module, roadside equipment and on-board terminal, and conducted the first LTE-V2X field test with Ford; in 2018-2019 it released the world's first automotive-grade C-V2X module DMD3A; in 2020-2021 the automotive-grade C-V2X module DMD3A entered mass production and it built China's first 100-kilometer Chongqing Shiyu Expressway vehicle-road cooperation demonstration project (128 km two-way); in 2022 it released the industry's first miniaturized multi-mode OBU and completed an A+ round of financing; in 2023 it released automotive-grade 5G modules and passed A-SPICE L2 certification; in 2024 it passed A-SPICE L3 certification and completed a B1 round of financing; and in 2025 it was awarded national-level specialized and sophisticated 'little giant' enterprise status.
