China Water & Power Press

China Water & Power Press is a central-level science and technology publisher in China. Its predecessor was the Water Conservancy Press established on January 1, 1956. In 1993, it was selected as one of the first 15 'National Excellent Publishing Units' by the Central Propaganda Department and the Press and Publication Administration. In accordance with reform requirements, the press was converted to a wholly people-owned enterprise at the end of 2010, and in December 2018 it was renamed China Water & Power Press Co., Ltd. The press focuses on publishing water conservancy and hydropower science and technology books and related publications.
