The first vines of Chiltern Valley were planted in 1982 on the slopes of the Chiltern Hills, surrounded by beech woodland and overlooking the Hambleden Valley near Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, UK. Since the first harvest in 1984, the business has produced an increasing range of fine, award-winning English wines. Old Luxters, the site, is home to 'Chiltern Valley Wines', its vineyard, winery, brewery, liqueur making facilities and cellar shop, and remains owned and run by the Ealand family. The brewery side operates as a truly independent brewery that revived the tradition of farm-brewed, full mash Real Ales using wooden-clad mash tun, copper, liquor and fermentation vessels, combining tradition with modern sterility and temperature control technology.

A business committed to uniquely hand crafted products to the highest standards, linked with friendly and informed service; its wines have gained a reputation for quality in national and international blind-tasted competitions.
