Chenglong Motors

Chenglong (成龙) was an automobile brand from the People's Republic of China, created by Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor of Liuzhou. The brand was introduced in 1991 for trucks and extended to passenger cars in 1999. Its only passenger-car line was the Fengxing, a van based on the Mitsubishi Space Gear. The brand was discontinued in 2007. Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor became part of Dongfeng Motor Corporation in 1997 and part of Dongfeng Motor Company in 2003. The brand is now defunct, though the corporate entity Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor continues to operate under the Dongfeng group.

From 1997 the company belonged to Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and from 2003 to Dongfeng Motor Company. In 2007 the brand name was abandoned. The only passenger-car series was the Fengxing, based on the Mitsubishi Space Gear. It was a van. Known versions were the LZ 6460 Q 7-Q 9 with seven seats and the LZ 6500 Q 7-Q 9 with either nine or eleven seats. An engine with 1997 cm³ displacement and 109 PS to 111 PS output powered the vehicles. In 2003 the model was revised. The LT 6480 Q 8 and LZ 6500 Q 8 now had either an engine with 2349 cm³ displacement and 126 PS output.
