Chemitech Inc.

Chemitech Inc. is a Japanese chemical manufacturer founded in 1987, headquartered in Fuchu, Tokyo. The company develops, manufactures and sells chemical products, primarily adhesives, and has expanded into cosmetics-related products and the craft/decoration industry. It operates a Tokyo factory and research institute in Hamura, and holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications.

Chemitech Inc. was established on April 8, 1987 with capital of 200 million yen, and commenced operations on July 1, 1987, with headquarters and research institute in Wakamatsucho, Fuchu, Tokyo, and a factory in Iruma, Saitama. In 1988 it signed a sales agency agreement in Taiwan, followed by South Korea in 1989. In 1991 it relocated its factory to Nihongi, Iruma, Saitama, and began developing microcapsule technology. In 1994 it launched microcapsule sheets (back-side erasure). In 1996 it relocated its headquarters to Miyamachi, Fuchu, Tokyo (current location). In 1997 it relocated its factory to Hamura, Tokyo (current Hamura Office). In 1998 it moved its research institute to the Hamura Office and signed a sales agency agreement in Hong Kong. In 2002 it launched microcapsule sheets (front-side erasure) and increased capital to 265 million yen. In 2003 it was certified as a Sony Green Partner, signed a sales agency agreement in China, and obtained ISO 9001 certification. In 2004 it obtained ISO 14001 certification. In 2005 it launched a heat-curable UV adhesive compatible with LED curing. In 2007 its CommunicationBoard won a Good Design Award. In 2008 it increased capital to 318.25 million yen. In 2009 it started a joint development project with Kaneka Corporation. In 2010 a new ERP system went into operation. In 2012 Chemitech Advance Co., Ltd. was established. In 2013 it obtained manufacturing approval for a cosmetics manufacturing facility. In 2014 it launched UV resin for the craft and decoration industry. In 2015 it launched gel nail products for the cosmetics industry. In 2016 it signed a sales agency agreement in Vietnam. In 2018 it introduced foreign-language SDS creation software. In 2024 it launched UV cationic adhesive and opened a hazardous materials warehouse in Ora District, Gunma Prefecture.
