Changchun BCHT Biotechnology Co. (BCHT) is a high-tech biopharmaceutical company established in 2004 and mainly engaged in the R&D, production and sales of human vaccines. Its main products focus on three vaccines: varicella attenuated live vaccine, freeze-dried nasal spray influenza attenuated live vaccine, and herpes zoster attenuated live vaccine. The company listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in June 2021. Its products cover 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities in China excluding Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and are exported to countries such as India and Pakistan.

Changchun BCHT Biotechnology Co. was established in 2004. In 2005, it began planning and constructing the BCHT R&D and production base. In 2007, it acquired Maifeng Pharmaceutical and passed GMP certification. In 2008, its varicella attenuated live vaccine was launched. In 2011, it began planning and constructing a 166,000-square-meter vaccine production base. In 2012, it cooperated with WHO on the R&D and industrialization of attenuated influenza vaccine and was recognized as a 'Provincial Enterprise Technology Center'. In 2020, its nasal spray influenza vaccine was launched. In 2021, it listed on the STAR Market. In 2023, its herpes zoster attenuated live vaccine was launched. In 2025, a liquid formulation nasal spray influenza vaccine was launched.

• Varicella attenuated live vaccine

  The first domestic varicella vaccine without animal-derived gelatin, with a shelf life of 36 months; market share has led nationwide for many years.

• Freeze-dried nasal spray influenza attenuated live vaccine

  Included in WHO's Global Influenza Vaccine Action Plan (GAP); the only domestically available nasal spray influenza attenuated live vaccine.

• Herpes zoster attenuated live vaccine

  The first domestic vaccine for preventing herpes zoster, achieving domestic substitution.
