Certified Home Remodelers, Inc.

Certified Home Remodelers, Inc. is a family-owned and operated residential remodeling and home improvement contractor based in Westminster, Maryland. The company was founded in 1997 by owner-operator Brad Jessup, who had previously worked in and eventually managed one of the largest home improvement companies in Maryland. Drawing on that background, Jessup built Certified Home Remodelers around the idea of delivering quality workmanship at a more affordable price point than large competitors, keeping overhead and operating costs low and avoiding private-label products in favor of the same manufacturer product lines at lower prices. The company serves Westminster and surrounding communities across Maryland, with its stated service area covering Carroll, Baltimore, Howard, and Frederick Counties and the greater Baltimore region. Its office is located at 57 Aileron Ct, Suite 18, in Westminster. Certified Home Remodelers describes itself as a premier and trusted name in the residential remodeling industry throughout Baltimore, Maryland and surrounding areas, and it offers financing through reputable lending institutions to help clients complete their projects. Certified Home Remodelers provides a broad range of residential remodeling and improvement services. Its core offerings include kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, home additions, custom homes, windows and doors, siding and decorative trim, roofing, decks, and attic insulation. The company positions itself as a licensed home builder with decades of combined experience, emphasizing code-compliant construction, manufacturer-spec installation, and real warranties. It markets itself as a smaller business with limited overhead that can pass savings on to homeowners while still using quality product lines from leading manufacturers. Credentials and certifications are a central part of the company's positioning. Certified Home Remodelers states that it is MHIC Licensed (#41896), BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, EPA Lead-Safe Certified, and a VSI Certified Vinyl Siding Installer through the Vinyl Siding Institute. It also cites a 5.0-star Google review rating. The company says its crew handles projects without subcontractors or handoffs, and it installs products such as Climate Pro loose-fill fiberglass attic insulation, Odyssey Plus Premium Vinyl Siding, Environmental StoneWorks, and Charter Oak Reinforced Premium Vinyl Siding. As a private, family-owned business, Certified Home Remodelers is not publicly traded and does not disclose financial results. Its brand identity rests on local reputation, craftsmanship, certifications, and long tenure in the Maryland residential remodeling market since its founding in 1997.

Certified Home Remodelers, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Brad Jessup, who serves as owner and operator. Before starting the company, Jessup built a diversified foundation in the home improvement industry by working for and eventually managing one of the largest home improvement companies located in the state of Maryland. After accumulating experience in that larger corporate environment, he started Certified Home Remodelers with the conviction that providing quality workmanship at a more affordable rate was the only way to do business. From its base in Westminster, Maryland, the company grew into a family-owned and operated remodeling business serving Westminster and surrounding communities across Maryland. Its stated service area includes Carroll, Baltimore, Howard, and Frederick Counties and the greater Baltimore region. The company has operated continuously since its 1997 inception and describes itself as a premier and trusted name in the residential remodeling industry throughout Baltimore, Maryland and surrounding areas. A defining characteristic of the company's history is its deliberate choice to remain a smaller business with very limited overhead and operating costs. Rather than privately labeling products under exclusive brand names, Certified Home Remodelers says this structure allows it to provide clients with some of the same quality product lines made by the same manufacturers, but at a more affordable price point. This positioning has been central to its identity as an alternative to larger remodeling firms. Over the years, Certified Home Remodelers expanded its service portfolio beyond basic remodeling into a comprehensive range of residential improvement services, including kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, home additions, custom homes, windows and doors, siding and decorative trim, roofing, decks, and attic insulation. The company emphasizes certified craftsmanship, code-compliant construction, manufacturer-spec installation, and real warranties across these categories. The company has also accumulated a range of credentials that it highlights in its marketing. These include MHIC License #41896, BBB Accreditation with an A+ rating, EPA Lead-Safe Certification, and VSI Certified Vinyl Siding Installer status issued by the Vinyl Siding Institute. It also cites a 5.0-star Google review rating. The company states that its crew handles projects without subcontractors or handoffs, and it offers financing through reputable lending institutions to help clients achieve their remodeling goals.
