cellcentric is a leading Tier-1 supplier of heavy-duty fuel-cell systems. It develops, produces and markets fuel-cell systems for heavy trucks and applications with comparable requirements, and its systems are already in use on public roads. The company was founded on 1 March 2021 as a 50:50 joint venture between Daimler Truck AG and the Volvo Group AB, building on decades of fuel-cell research and development from both parent companies. It has grown to more than 560 specialists at four locations and more than 850 granted individual property rights (patents, as of August 2026). Its mission is climate-neutral and sustainable transport by 2050.
