The website was launched on May 30, 2019, and the CelerSMS brand was registered on April 17, 2020. The company CelerSMS S.A.S. was born on September 25, 2020. CelerSMS is a Top Placer in the worldwide Go Global Awards 2021 conferred by the International Trade Council (ITC) in the Information Technology field.

The website was launched on May 30, 2019, as a joint effort of 4 engineers from different disciplines. On April 17, 2020, the CelerSMS brand was registered. On September 25, 2020, the company CelerSMS S.A.S. was born. During the first year of operation, the company participated in different incubation events, such as Despega Colombia 2020, Expo Dubai 2020 and South Summit 2021. On May 30, 2021, the company began publishing the CelerSMS journal in Spanish.
