Overview

Castleton Commodities International (CCI) describes itself as a leading global energy commodities merchant and infrastructure asset investor. Its business combines proprietary physical and financial energy merchant trading with strategic investment in and development of energy infrastructure assets. CCI states it is headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, and conducts business around the world. The company traces its origins to an energy merchant subsidiary formed by Louis Dreyfus Group in 1997, which became Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy LLC in 2006 and was acquired by management and a group of private investors in 2012, when it was renamed Castleton Commodities International LLC.
