Casa editrice Tabacco

Casa Editrice Tabacco Srl has been producing geographic maps since the post-war period. The brand is internationally recognized as a synonym for precision and safety for climbers, alpinists, trekkers, hikers, and Sunday excursionists. Their 1:25,000 scale maps focus on the north-eastern Alpine area, from Adamello and Lake Garda in the west to Slovenia in the east and part of Austria in the north, including all the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage site. They also produce road maps and special maps. Through official agreements, many citizen rescue services (e.g., Protezione Civile, emergency 112, Soccorso Alpino) use their cartography. The company does not sell directly to the public but only to bookstores, stationery shops, wholesalers, and other retailers; a channel is reserved for public and institutional bodies for customized projects.
