Overview
Capty Solutions Co., Ltd. (株式会社キャプティソリューションズ) is a Japanese engineering and construction company specialising in gas piping, water-supply and drainage plumbing, and building-services installation. Its roots go back to 1961, when it was spun off from the construction division of Kanto Gas Kiki (now Gastar) and incorporated as Kanto Haikan Co., Ltd. in Ota ward, Tokyo. Over the following decades the company expanded from domestic gas-appliance piping into branch-pipe work, water and sanitation systems, high-rise building piping, large-diameter gas mains, medium- and high-pressure steel pipelines, and trenchless rehabilitation methods. The company renamed itself Kabushiki Kaisha Kanpai (株式会社関配) in 1985 and, after a 2006 management integration with Toyoko Engineering, adopted the name Capty (株式会社キャプティ). In October 2023 it changed its name again to Capty Solutions Co., Ltd. and began operating under that identity. Its business spans residential (家庭用) and industrial/commercial (産業用・業務用, including gas heat pump, GHP) segments, offering engineering, construction and maintenance services with a stated emphasis on environmentally friendly, safe and comfortable living spaces. Capty Solutions is part of the Tokyo Gas Group. Its former living-services subsidiary, Capty Libric, was reorganised as a Tokyo Gas subsidiary in 2014, and in 2016 the air-conditioning business of Gastar was transferred to Capty by absorption-type company split. In 2022 the company's conduit-construction business was split off and succeeded by Nippon Steel Pipeline & Engineering. The company is headquartered in Sumida ward, Tokyo, having moved there in 2019, and is led by President and CEO Tatsuya Maruyama. It has been certified as a Health and Productivity Management Outstanding Organisation (Large Enterprise Category) and promotes health management for employees and their families.
